The Asian American Women’s Alliance (AAWA) was founded in 1996 and is a volunteer-based, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. Our funding comes from donors and fund-raising activities, and is spent on social change and community services.
The alliance members are actively dedicated to building personal and professional support among Asian American women in all their walks of life. AAWA seeks to create opportunities for mutual learning, nurturing mentor relationships, engaging in career and leadership development, while encompassing all diversity the community has to offer.
