Our banquet raises funds for our scholarships, honors the recipients of our Awards and Scholarships:

  • The AAWA Scholarship awards at $500 each celebrates four high school or college students who are proven leaders fostering the initiative and determination to make a change in the community.
  • The AAWA Recognition awards honors and acknowledges role models and unsung heroes from the community advocating for the advancement of Asian American women.

Please join us for an exciting night of cultural performances, fine dining and dancing, while recognizing the admirable unique efforts of contributing members of our society.  We are expecting about 200 guests at this special AAWA Scholarship & Recognition Awards Annual Banquet and looking forward to seeing you.

Our funding comes from donors and fund-raising activities, and is spent on social change and community services.

The alliance members are actively dedicated to building personal and professional support among Asian American women in all their walks of life. AAWA seeks to create opportunities for mutual learning, nurturing mentor relationships, engaging in career and leadership development, while encompassing all diversity the community has to offer.
